- Abstract:
- Lionel Roberts chairman of the Colonial Counsel presides over a committee meeting. These efforts lead to the 1936 Organic Act (later to become the 1954 Revised Organic Act). The march toward Virgin Islands Political autonomy had serious opposition to include Department of Interior delegate, and Lieutenant Governor Lawerence W. Cramer.
