- Abstract:
- The three-storied free standing, hipped-roof structure has detailed cast iron verandas, open to the public. The contracttor was Richar Bright, a native of St. Croix; the designer was Otto Marstrand a local merchant. This house replaced an earlier 1819 structure. Both were used by the Danes as the Governor's residence and housed other administrative offices.
