- Abstract:
- View of King's Wharf, taken from the old Navy Barracks Building. Next door is the Continental rebuilt after being destroyed by the 1929 hurricane. Where canons stand, old firing time salutes, wooden boat houses were erected (the last two were recently destroyed). The boats in the foregrond, are early ferries to St. John, and an early US Navy patrol boat. In the uppermost right , is the Danish Governor's residence that still serves as the Governor's Residence.
